「念仏〜新川地曳」唄：春江町念仏講中　三味線：岩楯雪枝、藤本秀康

　この曲だけは民謡ではなくおしゃらくの演目。ディスク1にも収録した新川地曳だが、これは春江町のおしゃらく保存会によるものだ。実はこの春江町のおしゃらく保存会は、葛西・浦安より先に発足している。郷土芸能研究家の宮尾しげをが1965年に念仏講に集まる年寄りたちを集めて発足させたのだが、葛西・浦安の保存会の立ち上げにあたり、藤本さんは春江の保存会を参考にしたという。この録音の面白いところは冒頭に念仏が唱えられ、そこから新川地曳がスタートしているところだ。念仏講の余興としてのおしゃらくを実感できる録音となっている。
